Chandigarh, April 26, : State President of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Ashok Arora has convened the Working Committee meeting of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) to discuss various issues of public importance. The meeting will be held in Kurukeshtra on May 2, 2018. It will be attended by Members of the Parliament, former MPs, MLAs, former MLAs, halqa Presidents and Presdents of the various cells.
He further said that among the prominent issues to be discussed are the jail bharo agitation that is being launched on May 1, 2018 for getting the construction of SYL completed and formulating a strategy for pressurizing the Government to withdraw cases against the Dalits because of the Bharat Bandh call of 2nd April.
Ashok Arora also added that during this time of the year when wheat crop is ready for harvesting about 2000 acres of wheat has been destroyed due to sporadic fires. The INLD will discussing and outline the mode in which the Government can be convinced to give relief to the affected farmers by granting them just compensation. He also accused the Government of patronizing corruption. During the current dispensation there has been a disturbing rise in sexual exploitation cases of the children. The crime graph bears testimony to this. The meeting will also discuss other law and order issues which are on the rise.
