Bharatiya Kisan Party candidate Ramneet campaigned in Sector 20


Chandigarh, May 15, :Bharatiya Kisan Party (BKP) candidate from Chandigarh seat for the Lok Sabha polls, Ms. Ramnit today visited the Sector 20 market area under her poll campaigning and talked to the locals about their problems and expectations from the political parties.Shopkeepers told Ramnit that the sitting BJP MP Kiran Kher never bothered to visit this market and never tried to know their difficulties. On the other hand, she allowed the street vendors to do their business in front of the showrooms. However, the vendors need to be given a separate space for their business. The business is down to the extent that even paying the rent of the showrooms is a point of worry. The MP had alsoA shopkeeper – Chander Pal told the BKP leader that they had great expectations from Modi, but the outcome is not satisfactory. Many companies in the country are in crisis, such as BSNL, Jet Airways, ONGC, Punjab National Bank etc, which can also adversely affect the economy. Online shopping has also affected the shopkeepers, as the online companies have not to pay shop rent or the taxes. Even there was no result after the strikes by jewelery and garments traders. Ramneet asked the people to vote her, so that she can solve these problems.
